History

Quick heads up before anything else: this is the no-kids port. The Beach Club at Bimini belongs to an adults-only cruise line — if this stop is on your itinerary, you're sailing without the kids, full stop. So this page is for the grown-up getaway, not the family trip.

Bimini itself is a real Bahamian island, not a manufactured one — a tiny fishing outpost about 50 miles off Florida that Hemingway used to haunt. The Beach Club is a private slice of it: pools, beach, music, and food that's included rather than nickel-and-dimed.

The day is simple by design: short tram from the ship, then beach, pool, lunch, repeat until it's time to head back. No logistics to manage. That's the whole point.

Parent to parent

So if you're here, you're on the kid-free trip — anniversary, girls' trip, the escape you've been promising yourselves. Which changes the advice. The club runs on beach-resort rhythm: quiet and calm in the morning, DJ and pool-party energy building through the afternoon. Want the mellow version? Claim your loungers early and enjoy the first half of the day — by 2pm the pool area is a party, not a nap. Food's included; the cabanas are the main upsell, and unless you need guaranteed shade, skip them.

Safety is a non-issue inside the club — it's a controlled, staffed compound. If you venture beyond it, Bimini is a small, friendly island, but keep it to booked excursions or the main resort area rather than wandering solo. And watch the clock on that tram back — it's the one piece of logistics the day actually has.

What's the Plan?

Do you want a set-and-forget day, or are you winging it?

Either way — we've got you covered.

Set & Forget

This is the easy button. Every excursion below is built for cruisers — pickup at the pier, drop-off at the pier, timing that respects your all-aboard, and a day where the logistics are somebody else's job.

Pick one, click, done. Want more options than our three favorites? Everything at this port is one tap away 👇

Wingin' It?

Winging it is the entire design here — this port needs zero strategy, because everything is inside one compound.

**The lagoon pools** are the centerpiece: two big ones, floats provided, calm in the morning and lively by afternoon — pick your hour based on the energy you want. **The beach itself** is the underrated move; while the crowd packs the pools, the sand stays quieter, and Bimini water is that unreal Bahamas blue. **The hammock groves** are where you actually get the do-nothing day you came for.

One honest note: the club is designed so you never need to leave, and for most people that's exactly right. If you want to see the real island — the shipwreck snorkel, the stingrays — that's a booked excursion, not a stroll.
